Group healing sessions

I am very passionate about community healings (as you will know if you’ve ever been to my Reiki shares) – not least because it is inherent in so many shamanic traditions members of the community to bear witness to one another’s healing.

In the group healings we work with a particular overarching theme for the healing, but everyone present on the call is invited to state their own personal healing needs. Together we have a discussion about the work, followed by a meditation or guided journey to illuminate what we need to know. The remaining time is divided between safely held and guided self healing, and settling in to receive a powerful Shamanic Reiki healing ceremony blessing everyone in the group.

Sessions are 3 hours long – time to ask for what you need, for us to drop deeply into ceremony and for me to work for the whole group. We discuss follow up actions for everyone at the end, and ensure that each person is grounded and safe after the work.

The sessions are recorded, recordings are available only to the signed up group, and remain available for 30 days in case anyone needs to revisit. Please attend the group healing in person to get the most out of it, and to hold ceremonial space and witness your fellow seekers in the group. If you cannot attend in the end, the healing work will still include you, but you will miss out on the community aspect of the work which is so healing in itself.

Group Healing Saturday 07 March, 2-5pm:
Heart healing for healers (open to Reiki 2 and above)

This healing session calls in Reiki and sound healing to soothe and restore your heart. As healers, we are deeply connected to the suffering of others, and this empathy and sensitivity can sometimes be hard to carry. As humans, we are also not immune to our own heart wounds!

We will work in circle together to open up to this heart healing. The session will operate on two fronts: healing what is held in our own hearts, and healing and protecting us during our work in the world, connected to those we work with. We will work with a Reiki symbol, so this session is open only to Reiki 2 and above.

We will begin with an opening ceremony and prayers of intention from everyone in the group, connecting all the hearts in the group. Our first journey will be into our own, individual hearts to see what healing is needed. After a check in on the Reiki Drum Journey results, I will lead the group in a guided self healing tailored to their needs.

After a break and group check in, we will work together with the HonShaZeShoNen symbol and sounds in a powerful healing ceremony for the healer’s hearts. This ceremony is designed to help those who are working with others, either on a one-to-one basis, in groups or as teachers.

Please note that you will need to have a candle with you for the second part of the session. Other than that, everything you need to have with you for the call is easily accessible and preparation work is minimal – all will be explained in the joining email sent out before the healing session.
